Thank you to all of our supporters for helping us raise over $35,000 for The Bedford Center — a new Bedford Block Party record!
Congratulations to this year's Bocce Ball Tournament champions, "The Flamingos!"
Proceeds will help fund scholarships, meals, program activities, art, music, physical and occupational therapies; any and all items that will bring smiles and joy to the lives of our beloved participants at The Bedford Center for Adult Day Health Care. For decades, The Bedford Center has been providing community-based services for older adults and people with disabilities, Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, and other chronic conditions. Our goal is to keep our vulnerable friends out of institutions while giving their caregivers much-needed and deserved respite, education, and support.
Thank you for helping us continue to provide these essential services for the frailest members of our community!
This year, we are pleased to honor Antioch City Councilmember Lori Ogorchock.
Lori has been a long-serving guardian angel of seniors in Antioch and The Bedford Center in particular. She helped to organize Choice in Aging's 1st Annual Bedford Block Party and has continued to serve every year on the planning committee to ensure its success. Lori never hesitates to rally her fellow Rotarians and friends to answer the calls for help. Despite her busy schedule, she can always be counted on to pitch in anywhere she is needed, and gets the job done. Thank you, Councilmember Lori, for your compassion and caring for those who are so often overlooked!
