Help Us Save our Programs

In his May budget revise, Governor Gavin Newsom has proposed to eliminate both Community Based Adult Services (CBAS), AKA Adult Day Health Care, and Multipurpose Senior Services Program (MSSP), majority of the programs we provide at Choice in Aging. Statewide, these programs serve close to 50,000 Californians. Without these services many of our frail clients and participants could end up is nursing facilities, where more than 40% of COVID-19 related deaths have happened in the states. We are working hard to advocate against this and we need your help.

Check out our Google Doc, which we are updating frequently, for all things you can do to help save our programs. The doc can also be accessed via the simple link tinyurl.com/saveseniors.

We also have an online petition, which can be signed here.
