Under the supervision of the Program Director, the Pharmacist will manage the medications administered to the Adult Day Health participants, pursuant to Adult Day Health Care, California Code of Regulations and Title 22 regulations.

Essential Functions:

  • Reconcile the medications of the Adult Day Health participants by ensuring medications are reviewed quarterly by physicians
  • Review and track psychotropic medication reports
  • Ensure proper storage of medications
  • Review prescribed medication dosages for appropriateness
  • Maintain confidentiality of work related information and medication
  • Complete all required documentation and records in accordance with program regulations
  • Other duties as assigned by Manager

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Valid Pharmacist license issued by the CA State Board of Pharmacy
  • Minimum one year of experience as a Pharmacist
  • Basic computer skills

Vaccination Requirements:

  • Full COVID-19 vaccination and booster(s) required

Job Type:

  • Contract position
  • Two hours each quarter (Schedule arranged with Adult Day Health Program Director)
