Rehabilitation Services of Northern California had been our name since 1949. Since then, our services have expanded and so have we, and we found that Rehabilitation Services of Northern California (RSNC) no longer described who we are, what we do, and who we serve. After a gala we co-hosted with the City of Pleasant Hill’s Recreation and Park District, we set out a casting call of sorts, to find savvy individuals with some re-branding background to help us re-brand. After six months of working with our rockstar Re-Branding Task Force, we did it!
After 68 years of being RSNC, we are now Choice in Aging. Choice in Aging encompasses all that we stand for. It better reflects our vision and service provision. The new name was revealed on January 12th, and took effect immediately.
Services will remain the same at our two locations: Mt. Diablo Center in Pleasant Hill and The Bedford Center in Antioch. Choice in Aging will continue to be the go to resource for caregivers and frail and disabled adults, especially those dealing with mid to late stage Alzheimer’s disease and dementia. Our day programs, transition services, complex care management, advocacy, and community education and resources are unchanged.
